How to survive getting lost

The wilderness trip is a relatively dangerous. Outdoors, floating in the river by canoe, or four - two trucks tied isolated - They all go out with a sense of safety and predictability of civilization behind. Fortunately, some of it is not enough to secure it is, without having to move away from the adventure. Here are six tips for doing just that.
1. Preparation. I saw hiker 8 miles from the nearest road in the evening, without water, in the face of the sub-night short sleeve freeze. They underestimate the amount of time required for travel to, and probably do not revert to some of the car in front of suffering. More important, they did not prepare for the possibility that they will rise more than expected SHI your time, or the possibility of changing the weather. All possibilities to consider, each of the plans have some before and the preparation of remains.
2. With a map and compass. Map to know how to read them. All maps are nothing unless you know how to read them. Lost in the wilderness, a lot of people hiking to the sky across the country did not know, which direction to travel to the nearest road. Compass is a good idea too, but know how to use it to make sure. The house near the practice and start using before, as it needed, keep in practice only (and maintain lost from the acquisition).
 3. Others learn navigation skills. Please use the clock and the sun to determine the direction? The shadow of the stick and how? In order to break the compass, the map and get lost, I should know that, at least one or two methods to determine the direction. Also note the direction most likely to take out of the wilderness before beginning. Remember, the entire highway running along the south side of the area now, as you well know to go to the emergency.
4. To learn survival skills. Know, some of the basic survival skills and a safe journey into the wilderness as well as more interesting. Know Sleeping under a pile of dry grass and leaves can be saved to keep warm in your life someday. Learning to identify some wild edible plants could lose when you feed food, travel and more interesting at any rate.
5. Practice fire created. Make a fire that one light and the match. Some of the woods near the home of one when rain, snow or tried. Your life can be saved, fire. Rarely who starved to death in the wilderness. They usually die of exposure. Know how to stay warm and dry. Matches and lighters always have the know how to start a fire.
 6. Get help from other people. Nobody could come to the rescue when Nobody knows where you are. The itinerary to leave behind. You can also MESHI mobile phones for them. I take care of myself and not for them in the lives of all time to save the holiday to take only a warning and turned off until you need. Battery charging that the check before you go. Read tips on more than that. Please take as applicable. People as well as a new wilderness, experienced outdoorsmen are too paid the ultimate price when they forgot or refused to travel to the wilderness of the basic rules.

The cold weather presents probably the one of the best opportunities to pack up a tent, a few sleeping bags and a few rods and reels and go camping. Why does the cold weather make camping so fun? To start with, the colder it is, the more stuff you get to burn, and burning things is fun.
